The reporting and analytics work businesses ask us for most
When your team is rebuilding the same reports by hand and arguing over whose numbers are right, better reporting earns its keep fast. These are the ones we get asked for most.
Power BI dashboards
Static reports become live dashboards that pull from your systems and refresh on their own, so you see what's happening now instead of last month.
Live dashboards, always currentAutomated reporting
The reports you rebuild by hand every week or month rebuild themselves from the source data and land in inboxes or Teams on schedule.
Hours back every cycleSpreadsheet solutions
A critical spreadsheet gets rebuilt on a clean, structured model with Power Query, so it stops breaking and the numbers hold up as it grows.
A spreadsheet your team can trustBoard and KPI reporting
The monthly board pack and KPI scorecards tie to live data, so they're ready in minutes instead of a day of copy and paste before the meeting.
A board pack that builds itselfSecure partner and client reporting
Share reporting outside your business with row-level security, so each client or partner logs in and sees only its own data, proven before launch.
Each partner sees only its own dataOne source of truth
Data from your different systems is brought into one place with agreed definitions, so finance, ops and the board all report the same number.
Everyone working from the same numbersNeed the data sorted first? We build the pipelines behind the reporting
Reporting is only as good as the data feeding it. We build the pipelines that pull, clean and combine your data automatically, so your dashboards stay accurate and current without anyone touching a spreadsheet.
Real projects, real reporting
A sample of the reporting and analytics work we've delivered for Australian organisations, from a multi-site rebuild to secure partner dashboards.
Fast, reliable reporting for a multi-site support program
A multi-site client data and reporting system had outgrown Excel. We replaced fragile workbook links and a 360MB file with a Power Query consolidation model and a clean row-based structure across four locations, then migrated the existing data into it with nothing lost.
We sharpened the Power BI reports a retail analytics business shares with external partners, then set up secure access so each partner sees only its own data, validated against the client's own reference figures. Built with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and row-level security.

The analyst picks what to report on, clicks once and a branded deck of around 660 slides comes out ready for commentary. Built with Python, Power BI and Excel.

You work with me, backed by our team
I lead the reporting and analytics builds and I'm who you'll talk to when you book a call. Behind me is an Australian team of data engineers, BI developers and analysts who build and support what we deliver. No salespeople, no offshore.
Five steps.
No surprises.
From the first conversation to reporting your team relies on, here's exactly what to expect.
Discovery
We get to know your business, your data and the decisions you're trying to make, then show you what's genuinely worth measuring and what isn't.
Scope
We pick the right platform and approach, then set the deliverable, timeline and a fixed price upfront.
Build
We connect your data and build the reporting in your own environment, then validate the numbers against figures you already trust.
Handover
We roll it out, train your team to read and maintain it and document it, so it's not a black box only we understand.
Support
We monitor, tune and extend the reporting as your needs change. Ad hoc or ongoing, never locked into a contract.

Common questions about reporting and analytics
Everything you need to know before building dashboards, reports or the data behind them. Got a question we haven't covered? Just ask.
Talk to us directlyWhat does a data analytics consultant actually do?
A data analytics consultant connects the systems your business runs on, models the data so it's consistent, then turns it into dashboards and reports your team can trust. In practice that means pulling numbers out of disconnected systems and spreadsheets, agreeing how each metric is measured, before building one source of truth that refreshes on its own. You spend less time assembling reports and more time acting on them. Book a free data consultation.
What kinds of reporting and analytics do you build?
Power BI dashboards that pull live from your systems. Automated reports that rebuild themselves and land on schedule. Spreadsheet rebuilds for the workbooks running critical processes. Board packs and KPI scorecards tied to real data. And the data pipelines that feed all of it. If your team is rebuilding the same numbers by hand or arguing over which figures are right, we can help. Book a free initial conversation and we'll tell you what's possible.
Should we use Power BI or stay in Excel?
Both have their place. Excel is still the right tool for modelling, quick analysis and one-off work and we rebuild plenty of spreadsheets so they hold up. Power BI earns its keep when the same report is run again and again, when several people need the same numbers or when you want a dashboard that refreshes on its own instead of someone rebuilding it by hand. We'll recommend the right fit during the initial conversation. Learn more about Power BI.
Can you fix or improve our existing Power BI reports?
Yes. A lot of our work is improving reporting that already exists. We review your reports for design, usability and performance, fix the data model and measures underneath and tighten the numbers so people trust them again. We can also set up secure sharing so the right people see the right data. You don't have to start from scratch to get reporting that works. Tell us what's not working.
Our reporting lives in a giant spreadsheet. Can you rebuild it?
Yes, and it's one of the things we get asked for most. We rebuild fragile, oversized workbooks on a clean, structured model, replace broken links with Power Query and validate the new numbers against figures you already trust. The result is a spreadsheet or report that stays fast and reliable as your data grows, instead of getting slower and more fragile every month. Learn more about spreadsheet solutions.
Can different clients or partners see only their own data?
Yes. We set up row-level security in Power BI so each user only ever sees their own slice of the data, whether that's a client, a partner, a region or a team. We prove it works before launch by validating against your own reference figures, so you can share reporting externally with confidence. Your internal team keeps the full view. Talk to us about secure reporting.
Where does the data come from? Do we need a data warehouse?
Not always. For many businesses we connect Power BI directly to the systems you already use and pull data with Power Query. When the data is large, comes from several systems or needs to be combined and cleaned first, a proper data pipeline or warehouse on Azure pays off. We'll only recommend it when it genuinely earns its place. Learn more about data pipelines and analytics.
Do you only build reporting on Microsoft platforms?
No. Power BI, Excel and Azure cover most of what clients need, because most already run on Microsoft 365, so it's often the fastest path. But we pull data from whatever you use, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Xero, MYOB and custom systems and we'll use Python or other tools where they're the right fit. We pick the right approach for the job, not whatever we happen to sell.
How much does a reporting project cost in Australia?
It depends on complexity and scope. A single Power BI dashboard is a very different engagement from a multi-system data pipeline with secure partner reporting. Every project starts with a free initial discussion where we understand your data and what you need from it. Then we provide a clear proposal with defined deliverables and fixed pricing, so you'll always know the cost before any work begins. Book a free call.
Do you provide ongoing support after the reporting is built?
Yes. We provide ad hoc or ongoing support including new measures, added reports, refresh monitoring and changes as your business shifts. Most clients start with ad hoc support and move to a retainer as they come to rely on the reporting day to day. We also provide full handover documentation if your internal team wants to maintain it themselves. Talk to us about support options.
Let's build reporting your team can trust.
